Millet Upma
Wash,drain and Soak 1&1/2 cup little millet 10-15 mins in 3 cup water
Cook in cooker with salt to taste and lil ghee -1tsp(optional). keep aside to cool
Other ingredients:-
Garlic 5pods chopped or less(optional)
1onion chopped(optional)
I carrot chopped (to avoid excess orange colour)or grated
Beans chopped or peas 1/2cup
2tomatos chopped
Corriander leaves -
minced1/4 cup or lil more as required
Mustard -1tsp
Jeera1tsp
Urad dal -1tsp
Channa dal -2tsp
Methi-1/4 TSP
2-3g chilli
1" ginger chopped/grated
Curry leaves 1sprig
Oil for seasoning
1)Heat a kadai or pan,add oil once the oil is heated
2) add mustard once it starts spluttering add jeera,urad dal,channa dal,methi, ginger,g.chilli,curry leaves
3)add onion saute till it gets translucent
4) add garlic stir
5)Add cut veggies (except tomato) add little water cook by placing a lid, when half cooked can add little salt, stir, cook again
6)then add tomato and cook till it's soft
7)then add the cooked millet rice and add corriander leaves and stir.
