Ragi Idiyappam:
This one is not the traditional recipe..which ofcourse is lengthy one..still it is gratifying.
I used to make it with rice flour.. for past few time I have been using ragi flour.
1 cup water
1 cup ragi flour
1 spoon ghee/ oil
Some salt( optional)
Bring water to boil with ghee/oil . Dump the flour and turn off the gas. Cover it with plate .. leaving it for 10 min.. make a dough out of it.
Grease idli plates and using portion of dough in sev maker, let the dough out on to idli plates and steam for 10/15 min on medium flame.
Serve with chutney.
